Mr Brainwash has unveiled a brand new limited edition ‘Perth is Beautiful’ work to coincide with his first ever exhibition in Australia, which is the latest in the ‘Life is Beautiful’ exhibitions which have been staged all around the world.
The 55x75cm silkscreen work is inspired by American painter Norman Rockwell and depicts 2 children on a bench looking across to the Perth skyline. Mr Brainwash said he hoped the work will inspire Australians to see the capital in a new way, “I hope they will look at life through the eyes of their inner child and look at their cherished city as if it was for the first, re-discovering it with excitement”
The exhibition commences on August 8 and will feature the limited edition prints as well as unique versions, all featuring the iconic hand finished features the artist is world renowned for.
